A huge SHOUT-OUT goes to Mechanics Grove School in Mundelein School District #75 for inviting District #41 staff members to their Leadership Day 2016 this morning! While on the visit, we were able to see the "Leader in Me" model which embodies 7 Habits as they relate to Leadership, Culture, and Academics:
Habit 1: Be Proactive Habit 2: Begin With The End in Mind Habit 3: Put First Things First Habit 4: Think Win-Win Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then Be Understood Habit 6: Synergize Habit 7: Sharpen The Saw

The first day of PARCC testing for 2016 went very well yesterday for the fourth graders. Students completed their tests on their Chromebooks with minimal disruption to the school day. Grades three through six will continue testing on and off for the next two weeks. If you have any questions regarding PARCC and its use, please feel free to call or stop in to the office.
